Joyful Noise Band offers a large array of classes to meet the needs of homeschooled musical students.

To see a complete description of classes, click on the links to the classes you are interested in.  All classes take place on Friday between the hours of 11 and 3.

Joyful Noisemakers will meet from 2 to 3.

Recorder classes will meet between 1 to 2. Beginner Recorder at 1 and Intermediate Recorder at 1:30.

Orchestra Classes will meet between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Concert and Symphonic Band classes will meet between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Chorus Classes will meet between 11 a.m. for Youth Chorus (ages 11+) and 1 p.m. for Children’s chorus (ages 6-10).

Jazz Classes will meet at 11 for Jazz Ensemble and 12 for Beginner Jazz.

Guitar Classes will meet between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Intermediate Guitar is from 11 to 12.  Older Beginner Guitar Students (11+) meet from 12 to 1 and younger beginner Guitar Students (8-10) meet from 1 to 2.

Woodwind and Brass Ensembles will meet at 2 p.m.

Some classes require participation in a primary class in order to participate in the “Exceptional Elective.”  These classes would be our Full Symphony Orchestra, Jazz classes, woodwind and brasswind ensembles and Marching Band.  The primary class would be a band class for Ensembles or jazz or symphany, or an orchestra class for a string student playing in the Symphony.
