This is an amazing day full of fun and learning for our band students.   We have guest conductors who provide the opportunity to learn new music in a day of rehearsals with students from home school and private school bands from our area.

All the effort applied to learning music is displayed at an exciting concert for family and friends at the end of the day

Students attending should have a minimum of 2 years experience on their instrument.  You will be challenged, but have a great time too.

We usually have two different bands, a symphonic band for those with more than 3 to 6 years experience and a concert band for those with 2 to 4 years experience.  You may be placed in either group depending upon our needed instrumentation.  Past directors have included Deborah Scarazzo from North Georgia State College, Dan Martin, retired director of Sprayberry High School's Band of Gold, David Gregory from Reinhardt College, Mary Land from the Picken's County School System, Clara Pantazopoulos from Jasper Middle School, and Stephen Myer from the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra.

The cost is $25.00 (non-refundable) per student which includes snacks, lunch and the coveted Bandtastic T-shirt!
