Jazz Band

Any student enrolled in the Intermediate or Advanced band may participate in Jazz Band.

In the jazz classes we concentrate on different types of jazz including big band and swing style music with a great emphasis on teaching students how to improvise. These classes are challenging and your students will definitely be stretched in them.

Required Materials: music stand, pencil, instrument and jazz book. Essential Elements for Jazz. This is not required the first week.
